What's old is new again

|
It's not very often in the radio business that you are re-hired by a station that let you go due to a format change just weeks before. But Jay Towers and Bill McAllister got the call and are the new morning team for sports WXYT-FM 97.1. It's a curious move because their show is not going to be sports oriented, unlike the rest of the programming. Hope it works out for them! My Oakland Press column, Towers, McAllister return with morning show, has more details.
