Comerica Park - nice on a summer night

|

Although I'll never let go of my Tiger Stadium memories, I do have to give the Tigers credit for a nice experience at this evening's ball game. There were over 39,000 fans in attendance, and it was totally refreshing to not have to wait in long lines for concessions or to use the rest room. It was nice to be able to move within the stadium without the huge 'traffic jams' that formed underneath Tiger Stadium. Of course I still miss the sight lines from the old ball park and too many of Comerica's seats are too far away from the field, but for the first time, I'm able to totally accept that the upgrade that is Comerica Park is indeed fan friendly.

It also helped that Tigers played a good game against the White Sox, winning 7-1.
