A pivotal year coming in Ann Arbor

|

After last season's disappointing 7-5 finish, the Michigan football program will be under close scrutiny this year. Will the team bounce back and find its way to a 10-win or better season? Or will fans be left wonder 'what-if' again?

The schedule is not in the Wolverines favor with tough road games at Notre Dame, Penn Strate, and Ohio State. It sure seems like they'll have to win at least two of the three to get to a 10 win season. A tough task for sure, with the best opportunity now looking like the game at PSU.

The home season should be successful- the toughest will be against MSU, Iowa, and Wisconsin - games which are never easy.

There were a lot of changes in Michigan's coaching staff this year - there are new coordinators on both offense and defense - hopefully they'll figure out a way to play a lot better in the 4th quarter of games.

I always look forward to college football season. Although I'm pretty confident in a good U-M season, there is a lot more to be worried about than usual. Especially when thinking about the trouble the team could get into with injuries to key offensive players like Chad Henne and Mike Hart.

Can't believe the first game is only two weeks away! Go Blue!!
