Free dinners and business organizers

| | Comments (3)

Scammers are trying harder and harder these days to swindle you out of your money. In today's mail was a slick package from "Internet Marketing Conference" promising two free dinners and business organizers where one can "learn how you can make money on the Internet by attending our FREE breakfast, lunch or dinner conference near you." They have an 800 number, and have reserved several hotel conference rooms in the area to suck people in.

A quick google on the guy doing the inviting, Clint Sanderson, resulted in a ton of hits. All of them explaining that this is nothing more than another suck you in scheme. After those first 90 minutes, you're encouraged to do more - and pay along the way. There are a ton of stories from people that have been taken by this organization -- if you receive this letter, file it in the circular file asap.
